AI Workflow Audit terms
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms apply when you purchase an AI Workflow Audit (the "Audit") from Ellis Tech LLC ("Ellis Tech", "we"). By completing payment you agree to them.
1. What the Audit includes
The Audit consists of a pre-audit intake questionnaire, a workflow discovery session, a written audit report, and a review session, as described on the audit page at the time of purchase. The scope is limited to the workflow or workflows discussed in the discovery session.
The Audit does not include building, configuring, or implementing any system, software, automation, or AI tool. Any implementation work is a separate engagement under separate terms.
2. Fees and refunds
The fee is the price shown at checkout, payable in full in advance. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before the discovery session takes place. Once the discovery session has taken place, the fee is non-refundable.
3. Scheduling
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session. We'll make reasonable efforts to find a new time. If we can't complete the discovery session within 60 days of purchase for reasons on our side, you're entitled to a full refund.
4. Not legal advice; no attorney-client relationship
Ellis Tech provides technology and workflow consulting. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. Although Rob Ellis is a licensed attorney, purchasing or receiving the Audit does not create an attorney-client relationship with him or with Ellis Legal LLC, which is a separate company. You're responsible for obtaining your own professional advice about the legal, ethical, and regulatory implications of any change you make, including your professional obligations regarding confidentiality and the use of AI.
5. Confidentiality
We keep what you tell us about your business confidential and use it only to deliver the Audit and as described in our Privacy Notice. Please don't share confidential client information, privileged material, or personal data about your clients; workflows can be described with identifying details removed.
6. Ownership
You may use the audit report freely within your business, and you may share it with employees, contractors, and vendors who help you implement it.
Ellis Tech keeps all rights in its methods, frameworks, templates, tools, and know-how, including anything we develop or refine while delivering the Audit. We may use general insights from engagements, in aggregated or de-identified form that doesn't identify you or your firm, to improve and develop our services and products. We will not publish your name, your firm's name, or a case study about your engagement without your written permission.
7. Recommendations and AI
Recommendations are based on the information you provide and our professional judgment at the time. AI systems can produce errors, and results depend on implementation and use. You decide whether and how to act on any recommendation, and any AI-generated output used in your business should be reviewed by a qualified person before it is relied on.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Audit is limited to the fee you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. They, together with the audit page description at the time of purchase, are the entire agreement for the Audit. Questions: rob@ellisaitech.com.
